Important Information.

Failure to comply with registration procedures may result in registration delays! Only the parent or sponsor, in person, may register a child for school. If you will homeschool your child, you must inform the Registrar of that choice. You must then fill out a form, which the Registrar can provide, which notifies the BSB Commander of your intent. If you are the guardian of the child you wish to enroll, you must present official documents proving guardianship at registration. A power of attorney is not sufficient documentation. You may apply for and obtain guardianship papers in the United States before you PCS. We cannot enroll your child in school and schedule him/her in classes without valid academic records. The forwarding school will insist on sending official copies of these records, but you may request and receive unofficial copies. Please make that request and obtain those records! Hand carry them with you to Germany. Do not pack them in your hold baggage, expecting them to arrive promptly. They probably will not make it in time, and registration will be delayed. Please hand carry your child's current required immunization records. Incomplete shot records may delay school registration. If you wish to enroll a student in the school and cannot establish a legal tie or command sponsorship, then you will be required to pay tuition.

School registration is an annual requirement by DoD Regulation to determine continued eligibility for school enrollment. Online registration is possible through the DoDDS-Europe website. DoDEA High School Graduation Requirements are outlined on the DoDEA website.
